About the 2025 1 Oz American Silver Eagle Roll/Tube of 20 (BU)
The 1 ounce American Silver Eagle is in its 40th year of issue. The U.S. Mint first released it in 1986 under the Liberty Coin Act of 1985, and it is the official silver bullion coin of the United States of America. The U.S. government and the U.S. Mint guarantee and certify that 1 oz silver eagle coins contain a minimum of one troy ounce of 99.99% pure silver.
Due to high demand, the U.S. Mint releases millions of Silver Eagles annually. In 2023 alone, they minted over 24.7 million silver eagles, making it over 561 million minted since 1986. To limit counterfeiting, the U.S. Mint added various security features, including reeded edges and a missing notch that is differently positioned every year.
The American silver eagle coin is very popular across the globe and is often described as the most beautiful American coin. Thanks to the U.S. government and U.S. Mint backing, it has high liquidity; it can be bought and sold with ease.
Additionally, silver eagles are easily accessible due to their high mintage and are also very affordable. - Each contains 1 troy ounce (31.103 grams) of 99.9% fine silver.
- Orders ship in original U.S. Mint tubes of 20 coins, orders of 25 tubes ship in mint-sealed monster boxes of 500 coins.
- *PLEASE NOTE* The US Mint changed its tape to a new silver color for the 2025 Silver Eagle Tubes. This tape breaks easily, even inside unopened monster boxes coming to us straight from the mint. You may receive tubes where the tape appears broken. We do not search tubes for MS 70s and are not opening your tubes prior to shipment. This is just a result of the US Mint using insufficient seals on their tubes. We will be applying our own tape to these tubes to make sure they do not break open during shipment to you.
